Dear Jimmy Kimmel,

I followed your career at its early stage, when you were with Ben Stein, on his game show.  I got to really like you whilst watching those shows.  And then you went onto The Man Show.  You know, I still liked you then, even though it was too raunchy for my taste.  You seemed to be an okay bloke.

When you started your career as a talk show host, I still enjoyed your low key personality.  You seemed to have a reasonable persona and you were still a bit of fun.  Somewhere, though, it all changed - you became a whiny, little bitch.

Of late, you've taken to using your child as a political prop, and, I've got to tell you, it's absolutely sickening.  Holding your son in front of your cameras and literally crying about government policy, policy that doesn't effect you in any way, shape, or form, is reprehensible.

Your dramatic effort to choke up and cry makes you come across as pathetic, not the great protector of the downtrodden Americans for who you seem to think you speak.  Add to that the fact that you are one of the super rich, and you just need a smack right upside your head.

Even moreover, you might have a point, except that you blatantly lie.  I've never understood how people like you can willfully deceive your viewers and still show your face on television, without any remorse or uneasiness, completely unashamed of your dirty tactics to influence people's emotions and opinions.  This is atrocious behavior and, sadly, I think that you know it.

You make me physically ill, Jimmy.  Words cannot express just how wretched I find you to be.  What happened to make you the shameless twit you've become?  Is it money, Jimmy?  We all know that the money comes in when the eyes are on your show; and we all know that attacking Trump, whether the attacks are valid or not, gets eyes on your show; and we all know the real gods you people worship are money and power; so we all know that to get the money and power that you crave, you will happily lie through your teeth where our sitting president is concerned.  Just ask Jimmy Fallon - his job is in jeopardy because he tries to avoid political attacks and issues (or, at least, he used to and his ratings showed it).

Ultimately, you will continue to be a lying clown and you will continue to use fallacy and emotion to please your liberal overlords, further pushing their agendas, but can you please just stop using your children as props?  Using your children in this way makes you no better than anyone who exploits children, for any reason, up to and including child traffickers and porn peddlers.

Dear Kathy Griffin,

Last month I asked you, very nicely, to please quit being a dumbass.  Dear, dear Kathy, I really wish you'd have granted me that very simple boon.  But, you didn't.

And now, you have not one, but two, Youtubers who not only call you out for your assholiness, but have teamed up for no reason other than to show the world just how pathetic you are.  Dear, dear Kathy, if only you'd have listened to me...

Dear President Trump,

Please don't invite that low-life, gutter-trash Lindsey Vonn to the White House.  Ever.  She doesn't represent me in the Olympics, and she doesn't represent half of this country.  Only representing half of this country is not representing this country, at all.

The idea that my tax dollars are being spent on this kind of human filth only serves to put a curve in my spine.  While you might believe it magnanimous to invite her, it only further fuels the self-righteous garbage that clutters the minds of these cultists who have no thought processes outside of what their ideologues tell them they should think.

Please, don't give her the satisfaction of being able to turn your invitation down.  Simply do not invite her.  The White House is the house of all Americans, inclusive, and if she cannot be inclusive to all Americans, particularly with the high honor that is bestowed upon her as an Olympian, as a representative of this great country, then she does not deserve to be honored, much less given an invitation to my house, America's house, the White House.

Thank you for your kind consideration in this request.

Lindsey Vonn does not represent America

Unintended Consequences

It was several years back when, in Toledo, Ohio, a vote was taken as to whether or not to allow smoking in public places, specifically, in bars and bowling alleys.  At that time there were already enclosed areas in restaurants to allow smoking, as the law, at that time, was that people could smoke as long as the establishment had an enclosed area for such purposes.  These enclosed areas had legal requirements for proper ventilation, but, overall, it was a solution that everyone could live with...Or so the smokers thought.

As is the norm in the United States, the busybodies and the do-gooders just couldn't leave well enough alone.  The idea that anyone should be allowed to smoke in an area that was designated for the smokers, an area that blocked the smoke from effecting anyone who didn't want to be around it, was simply no solution.  I don't know why it wasn't a solution, but I guess that there are those people who categorically must have their way, even when a reasonable solution works for everyone.

The issue was put on the ballot and, in a surprising twist, the people of Toledo voted against taking away the rights of smokers.  The issue to stop smoking in bars and bowling alleys was defeated.

That should have been the end of it...

Doubling their efforts, the busybodies and the do-gooders got the local newspaper, The Blade, on their side and they proceeded to throw even more money at the issue.  Through their efforts, they were able to get the issue put on the next ballot.  With their usual flair for propaganda and rhetoric, they pushed their agenda through and this time around, the voters upheld the issue and smoking in any public place was banned.

That wasn't all, though.  The laws were written in such a way as to ensure that no smoker could smoke a cigarette in any enclosed structure, which removed the possibility of having any kind of shelter, even like those of bus stop shelters (3 walls and a roof).  These laws made sure that smokers would be required to stand out in the open, regardless of weather conditions, making life as miserable for smokers as was humanly possible, all because they choose to do something that is 100% legal.  Smokers became second class citizens with absolutely no consideration for even the possibility that they have rights, too.

So be it.  The people had spoken (even though they had spoken once, just not in the way that the busybodies and do-gooders and The Blade required them to).

This brings us to the present day.  Lately, commercials have been airing explaining that we now have a problem with cigarette butt pollution.  It appears that smokers, having no place to go with their filthy habit, now simply pitch their butts on the ground; the unintended consequence of making a law that treats law abiding citizens poorly.

I find it deliciously humorous that smokers are being asked to treat our land with courtesy and respect, when absolutely no courtesy or respect has been paid to the smokers.  It's as if someone said, "Hey, I'm going to bend you over and give it to you hard, but please be nice to me."  Do you see the problem?

Unintended consequences.  Happens all the time when the busybodies, the do-gooders, and the myopic law makers charge straight ahead with no understanding that what they do will have very real aftereffects in the future.  Sadly, nobody seems to take this into account these days.  History really does repeat itself.

For my own part, I find great pleasure in the thought that every man, woman, and child should go out, buy a pack of cigarettes and dump them all about.  It's time that we, as a people, realized that when we make laws to hurt one part of the citizenry, a part that is doing absolutely nothing illegal, a part that we can find honest solutions as to how to live together in peace, has very real consequences in the real world.

History tells us that we won't realize this, though.  Unintended consequences.  Avoidable, but never avoided.

The human condition.

Hate In America

I read an interesting article today (view it here: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/the-state-of-hate-in-america/ar-BBE4pA5).  It was about hate in America.  It pointed out all the hate coming from white people, mostly white men.  It suggested to me that the only hate that exists in this country is the hate that white men have in their hearts for anyone who isn't white.

What a bunch of bullshit.  It's no wonder so many people see the news these days as being little more than fake news.  If you go by this article, then you must conclude that white men hate everyone, while everyone else is trying to love, love, love.

I can't stand it.

You don't think black people hate white people?  You've got a whole, world wide, internet to research.  Look around - black people hate white people, they hate them badly.  The general populace of black people in America are convinced that whitey is holding them down, and they still blame 21st century white folks for the sins of white slave owners from 200 years ago.

While there are exceptions (I'd suggest that it's about 10% of black folks that don't hate white folks and don't consider them to be just as guilty as the slave owners of civil war days), most black children are raised to hate white folks and believe that white folks owe them money and services and a living, as well as their children's future.

Hey, do you remember when black folks wanted equal opportunity and equal rights?  They absolutely had a right to those things and they always will, but that's not what they want in today's world.  They want a free ride in reparation to all that their ancestors went through.  With exception to the 10% that actually want peace in this country, the overwhelming majority of black people today teach hate to their children and have no desire to be a part of the United States, other than what they can get for free.

Sorry, black folks, but Martin Luther King Jr. would be disappointed with what you've done to his dream and how you've turned that dream into a nightmare.  Whitey isn't holding you down - YOU are holding you down.

Take care and thanks for reading.
