Undisputed Fact:  Getting vaccinated does not protect you from contracting COVID-19.

Undisputed Fact:  Getting vaccinated does not stop you from infecting others if you contract COVID-19.

Question:  How does getting vaccinated protect anyone, in any way, other than the person vaccinated?

That's a rhetorical question, of course.  Getting vaccinated doesn't protect anyone other than yourself, given the facts.

Now I'm going to ask you to do something that is terribly uncommon these days - I'm asking you to use your own logic and your own brain, disregarding everything that you're told by the media, and to form an opinion based only on the facts.  Can you do that?  Can you ignore what your media and entertainment overlords tell you to think and actually think for yourself?  I'm hoping that you are not so far gone that you cannot actually use your own mental capacity to make a logical conclusion based purely on fact, rather than opinion from people who stand to gain by keeping you in line with their ideologies.

Here it comes; here comes the BIG question that will test your resolve to think for yourself...

How does forcing anyone to get vaccinated, using the full weight of the government, help you in any way, shape, or form?

If you are using your own logic and your own brain, then the question remains rhetorical (based on the facts and not the opinions of those who expect you to believe them, unquestioningly).

Here's the irony:

The hard left are the ones pushing for the government to force everyone to get vaccinated.

"Where's the irony in that?", I hear you asking.

It is the hard left that expostulates against "Big Pharma" and, yet, "Big Pharma" are the only ones who actually stand to gain from this governmental edict that everyone be vaccinated.

Please understand that I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't get vaccinated.  Quite the opposite.  I highly recommend that you make your own decision, based on your own beliefs, on whether or not to get vaccinated.  Getting vaccinated might just save your life.  However, other people getting vaccinated doesn't do a damn thing for you or society.

So, the ultimate question is:  Why do you believe that giving the government more power is a good thing?

Take a long, hard look at history.  Giving the government more power has never ended well.  Never.

  1. Yes, you can still catch Covid. Yes, you will still be contagious. But it is my understanding that post vaccination catching the virus is harder because of the antibodies that your system has built up. Maybe you are at Thanksgiving dinner and there are 10 people around the table. Your Aunt is asymptomatic, but is brewing Covid. Your brother and your sister in law are full vaccinated including the booster. With hand washing and even just 4’ distancing, statistics show they would be the only two who would not to contract.

Also, because of the antibodies that you build up from the vaccine should you put in the work to actually contract Covid, it will be a much milder version of the disease. Your body, having seen it already, is able to fight it without hospitalization, and the mortality rate plummets.

So yes, you are right on all counts. CONGRATULATIONS! You just left out the part about why they are important.

Flu vaccines, the Chicken Pox vaccine, measles… all things that we are vaccinated for but can still get.

    1. Hey Michael. Read Meghan’s comment. That’s what’s known as “logic”.

    2. Again, I don't suggest that getting vaccinated is a bad thing and I strongly suggest that everyone get vaccinated. Read the whole article. This isn't about vaccines, it's about giving more power to a central government that concerns me.

  2. What do you know? The virus gets stronger the more you fight against it:

  3. The author here couldn’t be more dense. He talks about using your brain. There are way too many uneducated, unintelligent people (giving Michael a second to realize I’m referring to him) telling others to use your brain.
You are not using logic. At all. You’re thought process is the opposite of logic. It’s backing into an argument.

And you top it off by saying that fighting it makes it stronger. NO SHIT!!! But, if the moron minority got vaccinated there’s something called herd immunity….look it up…or don’t. You’re not one to do actual research - like intelligent people.

One of the strongest signs of lack of intelligence is confirmation bias. Seeking only info that backs up what you already think.

You’re not an intelligent person. There’s nothing else to say.

    1. I have an immune system and I'm not afraid to use it. That being said, if you actually read the entire article, you'll see that getting vaccinated isn't my point. In fact, I do suggest that everyone get vaccinated to save themselves.

My point is that using the government as a hammer for your own ends is a bad idea. Read the article - I'm not lying. Never has giving the government more power been a good thing and it always ends poorly for the citizenry. That is the point of this article - not getting immunized.
